Due to supply issues from the federal government there are a very limited number of Pfizer appointments available. We understand this is a challenge for youth aged 12-17 as Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for use in youth. Updates will be made available as more supply information is provided.

Adults 18+ reminded that they do not need to wait for a Pfizer for second dose appointments, and may get Moderna if it is available to them earlier. Pfizer and Moderna are both safe, effective and interchangeable. There are first and second-dose Moderna appointments readily available next week and in the future.


All Manitobans aged 12 years and older are eligible to schedule a first dose vaccine appointment.

Manitoba has identified priority populations to have access to a second dose of COVID-19 vaccine first. The following people are eligible to schedule a second dose mRNA appointment, regardless of which vaccine they received for their first dose - Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD:
