Presbyterians Sharing Sunday

When we give to Presbyterians Sharing, we participate in God’s mission together, expressing our faith through our actions and decisions. The following material will help congregations celebrate the life-changing mission and ministry they support through their gifts to Presbyterians Sharing.

The worship service blends scripture with stories of God at work in Canada and around the world. It includes a call to worship, prayers, children’s story, hymn suggestions, scripture and sermon and can be led by ministers or lay leaders.

Videos of the children’s story and sermon—including a visit with bees and first-hand accounts from mission staff—will be available in early September.

Order and distribute the 2021 brochure and show the 3-minute video highlighting ministry supported through Presbyterians Sharing.

This colourful and engaging brochure highlights some of the programs supported by generous gifts to Presbyterians Sharing. It includes short testimonials that share the impact of giving.

When we put our gifts into God’s hands, God does remarkable things! Share this 3-minute video celebrating the mission and ministry of Presbyterians Sharing. It includes a breakdown showing how a $100 gift makes a difference.

The new Gifts of Change catalogue and Giving Tree materials will be available soon. Look for the catalogue in the next edition of the Presbyterian Connection newspaper. Copies will be available for congregations to order as well.

A Giving Tree package will be mailed to congregations in September. It will include sample ornaments, bulletin inserts and details on how to set up a Giving Tree in your congregation.
